Our Charter/ 本会の会則

ヒューマニスティック英語教育研究会会則　 2019年8月24日採択

１．会の名称

　本会は、「ヒューマニスティック英語教育研究会」(Humanistic English Language Education Study Group)と称する。

２．会の目的

　本会は、Carl Rogers氏が提唱したWhole Person Education（全人的教育）の立場を継承し、教育の最高目標をFully-functioning Person（各人が持って生まれた潜在的可能性をフルに発揮して生きる人物）としての人格の成長に置いた英語教育の、交流、研究と前進を目標とする。この目的達成のために、年次研究会を開催し、定期刊行ジャーナルを発行する。

３．事務局

　本会の事務局は、下記に置く。

４．役員

　本会には次の役員を置き、役員会を構成する。役員の任期は2年とし、毎年3月に開催する本会年次総会にて改選する。なお再選は妨げない。

５．入退会

　本会への入会は、本人から役員への入会申請をもとに、役員会にて審議して決定する。

　本会からの退会は、本人から役員への退会申請にて決定する。

６．本会の年会費は、会則改訂のあるまで、無料とする。

７．本会の会則改正や役員リコールは、会員からの発議を受けて年次総会にて審議し、全会員の二分の一以上の賛成をもって実行することができる。なおその決裁には不在投票も含むこととする。

Humanistic English Language Education Study Group

Charter (Approved on 24 August)

1. Name of the Organization

This organization is named Humanistic English Language Education Study Group.

2. Purpose of the Organization

Based on the principle of Whole Person Education proposed by Carl Rogers, we aim at studying and promoting language education with the primary goal of nurturing learners' humanity and potential. For this purpose, we organize annual study conferences and publish periodical journals.

3. Office

4. Officers and Executive Board

This organization has the following officers, who serve the executive board of this project. The officers are elected at its annual general meeting held in March, with an office term of two years. Repeated terms of office are possible.

5. Membership/ Cancellation of Membership

New membership is granted upon request of a membership application approved by the executive board. Cancellation of existing membership is effective upon receipt of a written request from the requesting member.

6. Membership Fee

Membership is free currently.

7. Procedure for amendment of the charter and/or recall of officers

When there is a motion for an amendment of the charter or recall of any of the officers, the motion will be voted upon at the next annual general meeting, and passed by majority approval of members voting at the annual meeting and e-mail votes.
